To Reign in Hell
I hate interior decorators. The whole idea that there can be fashions in what you decorate your home with is distasteful. It’s your home. It should be an extension of your own mind, not someone else’s taste and certainly not something you change often on the vagaries of fashion.
And art should be collected, over time. You see something, at home, in your travels, that speaks to you and that you want to look at every day. It’s not something you buy en masse, to match your couch.

I love the guy just staring over the edge, he is the picture.

Yeah, Christians totally pick and choose. Either you have to follow all of the rules or say that they were all overthrown, you can’t have parts and pieces. Messianic Jews actually seem to have it right, though they should throw out the things that are just “tradition”. “That’s the way we’ve always done things” is a crappy reason to keep doing something; lets all use leeches and bloodletting, torture “witches” and use spears.

I’ve always loved this quote. Every “movement” or ideal or -ism I’ve ever heard of has always been ill defined. They may have started with a goal or a unifying theme, but when they get big, they get people who agree in general but differ on one thing, and then they bring in people who differ even more, till you’re group is all over the place. Feminism is a great example, they originally rejected lesbians, then the lesbians rejected the feminist, because they were “sleeping with the enemy.” And the feminist started focusing on details, like pornagraphy, till they lost their guiding force and became useless.
